I just got certified. I am now a Certified Embodiment Coach. This course taught me to lead myself and others to "drop into our bodies" and learn to feel and process emotions. I do agree that we all have a story, BUT the story itself is not what really matters. What matters most is the feelings and sensations that your body feels and stores through the story and your narrative about it.
Yes, we should feel our emotions. This is very important! But change really happens when ACTION is taken.
I'm about to start my coaching business and I am so grateful I had this OTHER enlightenment knowledge passed on to me... what has set me on fire NOW is LEARNING that EVERYTHING IS A SKILL!!! Emotions are and will always be there, BUT what kind of emotions are present are not as important as what you DO despite those emotions.
Where did i learn this???
I came across a YouTube video on Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu and Alex Hormozi. Alex clearly explains that everything in life is an acquired skill. We can all learn and grow a skill we want to develop and/or have more of.
This brings me ALL the EMPOWERMENT that I need because it is something that I have COMPLETE control over. Now, I can lead my clients to not only feel the emotions they need to but empower and inspire them to take action towards their dreams and goals. Despite the story and the emotions present, focus on the skill you want to build and take ACT>ION.
ACT>ION is greater than emotions and the story behind those emotions. NOW GO DO!
